Two spacious bedrooms and a nice sized full bathroom. Plenty of closet space and hooks for putting clothes away and hanging towels, ski gear, coats, etc. The kitchen is open to both the living room and dining room. Step outside the dining room to enjoy your morning coffee or a meal at the table on the deck. For your convenience a washer and dryer are provided, please bring your own detergent and fabric softener. The kitchen is nicely equipped for basic cooking, if you have specialty items you like to cook with, please bring those with you. There is a TV in the living room for group entertainment as well as one in each bedroom for those times where you can’t agree on what to watch. You’ll find a beautiful mixture of the historic charm of the home mixed in with modern touches throughout.

- By virtue of booking our home, you are agreeing to abide by all house rules listed here and/or as posted in the home. -Locals must communicate with us prior to booking. - We want all of our guests to arrive to the house with it ready for their stay and we need to have time to clean the home for the next guests. Unauthorized late check-outs will be assessed a $150 late check-out fee. - This home has a strict "no-smoking rule." That means no smoking inside the home or on the porch. Violation of this rule will result in a $200 extra cleaning fee for smoking inside the unit, immediate removal from the property, and loss of all rental fees. - We will not waive the no pet rule. - Guests agree to read, respect, and follow all house guidelines and rules. A copy of the rules can be found in the unit. - You agree to be responsible for any damages, including a loss of revenue on future rentals, for either failure to follow house rules and/or lost items/damage occurring during your stay. - This is our own home, but you'll get a code by email/messaging for self-check-in after 3 pm the day prior to your arrival date. You will receive full access instructions prior to your visit, and a house manual with other instructions and info is available in our home when you arrive. Please read these prior to contacting us for assistance. -We ask guests to wash and put away all dishes, clean up food spills, take out the trash and place all used linens in a laundry hamper prior to departure. -Guests leaving the home in such condition that excessive cleaning beyond what would be required after a normal, courteous guest, will be charged a $100 excessive cleaning fee. Examples of what may require excessive cleaning include but are not limited to: leaving dirty dishes in the sink; leaving trash in the unit; leaving food stains on furniture, counters or floor; and leaving the bathroom with human waste on the fixtures or floor. -Guests understand that winter weather (snow) is common in this area and further agrees that snow removal service (driveway, steps and walkway) will not be provided for less than 5" of snow. Snowfall greater than 5" will be cleared as quickly as possible after the conclusion of the snow-storm; mid-storm service will not be provided. Clearing will happen as quickly as possible after road conditions are safe for travel to allow someone to get to the property safely. -By reserving our home, you agree that if you are unsatisfied for any reason upon arrival, or during your stay, you will contact the host to allow the host the opportunity to address any concerns prior to asking for a refund and/or contacting AirBnB.

Lots of room outside for your children to run and play - there are several creeks on or alongside the property to be sure to keep a watchful eye. This home is in a rural, wooded area. Bugs and critters are common, and while we do our best to keep them outside, you may on occasion have a visitor or two, especially if doors and/or windows are opened. We follow our cancellation policy with no exceptions, and do not refund for inclement weather. As such, we strongly recommend your review coverage information and purchase travel insurance from AirBnB, or another source, if inclement weather conditions may inhibit your ability to travel. In the event of a heavy snow (5" or more), when it is safe to get travel, we will make every effort to clear the driveway, walkway, and stairs as quickly as we can.
