Have a clean and comfortable house to yourself! An awesome nature retreat right on the tidal creek called Ollies Creek. Osprey, heron, ducks, geese and many other coastal birds are regularly within sight behind the house to see! You'll have full and private access to all main floor areas (owner's quarters upstairs are locked off and not in use while you visit) - including a large master bedroom (with a king size bed), and adjoining full private bath, well appointed kitchen, laundry room, living room with a big screen TV and Cable, dining room, and delightful screened in back porch. If you have one extra person, the couch could also be available for sleeping. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own food, including full stove, spices and kitchen supplies, a bullet for your smoothies, and an airfryer! Notes: This is a private home that is deep-cleaned and shared when the owner is not in town. This is not just a vacant rental unit. Linens and towels provided. We welcome nice, responsible humans of all races, ethnicities, origins, genders, orientations, and religions! This home is in Eastern North Carolina, near the water. While we have regular pest control visits, you may still encounter a bug or two. The home is professionally cleaned between every guest and bugs just sometimes appear in this region.

- We want all of our guests to arrive with the house ready for their stay and we need to have time to clean the home for the next guests. Unauthorized late check-outs will be assessed a late check-out fee of $100. -Locals must contact us prior to booking. -This is a “leave no trace” home. We ask guests to wash and put away all dishes, clean up food spills, take out the trash and place all used linens in a laundry hamper prior to departure. - By booking, you agree to be responsible for any damages, including a loss of revenue on future rentals, for either failure to follow house rules and/or lost items/damage occurring during your stay. - Absolutely no smoking inside the home. Violation of this rule will result in a $200 extra cleaning fee for smoking inside the house, immediate removal from the property, and loss of all rental fees. - This is our own home, not a hotel or investment property, please treat it with respect and care. -You'll get a door code by email for self check-in after 3 pm on your arrival date. You will receive full access instructions prior to your visit, and a house manual with other instructions and info is available in our home when you arrive. Kayaks with paddles available for use (please be careful) and can be launched off the backyard at high tides. Small dogs may be welcome to stay with a $30 pet fee (you must bring your own crate if you will leave them alone for any amount of time) and clean up after them.
